Kocatepe Monument
20 km from Afyonkarahisar. 8 km within the borders of Kocatepe (Büyük Kalecik) town. It is located on Kocatepe, at an altitude of 1,874 meters away. It is the monument symbolizing the climb made by Commander-in-Chief Mustafa Kemal on 26 August 1922 to reach Kocatepe, where the Great Offensive Operation was launched and directed. Due to its geographical location, it is a place overlooking the Sinanpaşa and Afyonkarahisar plains. In addition to the Atatürk Monument, there is a ceremony area and trenches in Kocatepe.
Music Museum
The collection is exhibited on the ground floor and first floor of Afyon Kocatepe University State Conservatory. The structure, which was established when Businessman İbrahim Alimoğlu from Afyonkarahisar donated the musical instruments in his personal collection, which he had built up over many years, to Afyon Kocatepe University, was founded by German collector Dr. It became even richer when Wolgfang Ott donated about 250 musical instruments.
